Description

On the Thank You page of a PulseCheck, if the conditions are met, the "Leave a review" tab is displayed. This tab makes it easy to capture positive reviews on sites like Google. We call these sites Review Platforms.

How it works

Admins can add Review Platforms to a PulseCheck, and add their tracking number. Once added survey from a list of ones we provide. For each review there is one or more options (ID, domain name etc.).

Conditional Display

If there are no 3rd-party review platforms configured for a PulseCheck:

If the user has not yet provided a testimonial, simply remove the review tab
If the user has recently provided a testimonial, then load the alternate thank you page.

Overview

This schema is designed to store information about review platforms while supporting multi-language output for our pro plan. It uses dedicated columns for English (non pro plan) and a JSONB column to store translations for additional languages. This approach enables efficient querying of primary (English) data while retaining flexibility for localized content.

Columns and Descriptions

Column	Type	Description
id	Integer	Unique identifier for each review site entry. Auto-incremented or UUID.
slug	String	A unique identifier for the review site (e.g., "google"). Used in URLs and internal lookups.
review_url	Text	The URL template that directs users to the review page of the site (e.g., "https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid={id}").
star_rating	Boolean	Indicates if the review site employs a star rating system (true for yes, false for no).
star_rating_argument	String	The query parameter used in the review URL to represent the star rating (e.g., "rating=").
platformID_label	String	A label for the unique identifier used in the review URL (e.g., "Google Place ID"). Useful for configuration purposes.
logo	Text	Contains the SVG markup for the review site's logo, stored as text.
name	String	The English version of the review site's name, used for fast and direct access to primary language content.
description	Text	The English version of the review site's description, providing details about the platform.
industry	String	The English version of the review site's industry classification, used for categorization.
